You are a 9 minute walk from the Anacostia metro station (Green line), 5 minute walk to Starbucks, a 10 minute drive to Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Washington Navy Yard, Ft McNair, Nats stadium, and Audi field. This is the best place to be IN the city without paying the insanely high prices in other parts of the city.

We are open to either renting or selling our home. The Anacostia area has been gentrifying super quickly in the past few years - new restaurants and new builds are happening all around! The asking price reflects understanding that this is still a gentrifying neighborhood.... but for the price, you'll never find a home IN the city with this huge of a yard and off-street parking. If not paying over BAH + parking + outdoor space + being close to work + a cute historic home is important to you, then this is a good house for you.

We are a military family with PCS orders away from the national capitol region in summer 2023. We have two kiddos and have loved the Southeast DC area (we have felt totally safe here). We are open to negotiation with whomever is interested in renting or buying our charming home!
