MUST LOVE DOGS. Two professionals with two border collies and too much space renting a large (13.5 x 11), very bright, furnished, above-ground lower level bedroom with private, just-renovated full bath. Room was just painted. Use of kitchen, living, dining, and laundry rooms, and patio/yard. Nature trails. Street parking. Rent includes utilities and wifi. We do not have cable but you are welcome to purchase it.

Bus to Pentagon/Pentagon metro at corner. Past tenants have found commute to Ft. Belvior easy also.

We have two 7 year old border collies who are free to roam the main level of the house. Mia is sweet, friendly, and generally quiet. Jack is 50lbs of enthusiasm who loves people and switches to auto-bark setting when anyone comes to the door.

Room has a double bed, chest and armoire, table, small refrigerator, new room-darkening curtains, 2 lamps and a good size closet. Tenant will have kitchen privileges; small fridge in room was left by recent tenant. Tenant will have refrigerator, freezer and food pantry space in kitchen.

Limited to 1 occupant. NO overnight guests unless a spouse; this is purely a security consideration. We don't want people not known well to you to have access to the house.

We are looking for a renter who 1) has excellent income and very good credit, 2) is security conscious-it is a safe neighborhood but we still lock doors and don't want to find the dogs out on Braddock Road; 3) is generally clean and neat; 4) does not smoke or do drugs; does not drink to excess; 4) has NO pets; the border collies are firm on this; and 5) is very good and very comfortable with dogs.

Lease and one-month security deposit required. We will check credit, previous landlord, criminal and employment references.
