3rd Floor - Very large Master bedroom (17'9"x14'2") suite with walk-in closet, brand new bathroom with large shower and closet toilet. Laundry room on same floor between master suite and the other 2 bedrooms and a 2nd full bath. Need to bring own washer and dryer. Look at floor plans-master bedroom nice and large, the two other bedrooms are perfect for kids or a home office (10'x11' & 10'x10'). Master bath has plenty of room for two. Bathrooms - standard size.
Every level has lots of natural light. If you do not like windows, then this townhouse is not for you.
2nd Floor – open floor design – living room, eating area, and brand new galley-like kitchen - surrounded by windows. ½ bath for guests and convenience. Dining room with wall of windows. Living room has sliding glass doors which walk out to full width composite deck convenient for parties and BBQs. The deck is exposed. We used to buy palm plants; with those plants and our outdoor dining table umbrella, we had plenty of shade and some privacy. In short, this deck has lots of sun and plenty of space but is exposed on three sides. This is hard to avoid in a townhouse, but it is big enough for plants, plant screens, and still have good BBQ get-togethers.
1st Floor – garage and walk out basement – workout area or family room space with gas fireplace. Look at the dimensions - the basement is not as large as the main level and the third floor as the garage is on this level. We had workout equipment in one area, and a pull out couch in the area closest to the gas fireplace. This allowed us to watch TV while using the elliptical and allowed the teen to have his own space with his friends without being on the main level or in a bedroom. The basement floor is tile. Convenient 3rd full bath on this level. Sliding glass doors walk out to extremely small fenced enclosure - size of the deck above. Going in other direction out to the 2-car garage, 2 large low storage areas are built in. One of the two garage storage areas will have paint, tools, and other items that the landlord uses for maintenance, and these items will not take up an entire storage area.
Overall, this place is great for a single who wants quite a bit of space and to be in a community that is not all singles, couples, or families but a mix of all. This place is great for a couple who loves entertaining. This place is great for a small family (master big - other 2 bdrms small) who likes a convenient tot lot and a pool. This place is not for anyone who has or desires a cat or bird. This place may be okay for a dog depending on the age and temperament. There are a lot of stairs - older dogs will not be able to handle the stairs. There is a non-refundable part of the dog deposit takes care of cleaning out HVAC vents.
No commute. Lots of space – 2,300sqft. Famous Nature Preserve. Pool and Playgrounds. A neighborhood with dog walkers, joggers, and singles and parents. Best schools in the country - Fairfax County School District. Convenient to all of DC!
