The Coast Guard Yorktown Training Center is located just below the Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, right at the eastern edge of Colonial National Historic Park.  The Yorktown Coast Guard facility lies about about 3 miles south of the Yorktown city center and 35 miles north of Norfolk, VA.  Newport News and Williamsburg lie within a 15 miles radius of the facility, and Glouster Point, Seaford, Hayes, Marlbank, Harris Grove and Holly Hills are all within a short distance of the facility.
