Unlike Las Vegas, the water system here is from an underground river and there are no watering restrictions. There are many beautiful agricultural fields and the whole valley smells wonderful every time the alfalfa is cut.
Logandale is a 45 minute drive to Nellis AFB, without a single stop light (all on the Interstate). We have spent 13 years in this home, commuting to Nellis AFB. It is worth every mile of the drive, to be able to raise our children in this beautiful valley, and to be closely involved with this wonderful, close-knit community. Although the drive is long, it is very stress free, and I find that many of my colleagues spend just as long on the road to commute 10 miles to their homes within Las Vegas.
