I started my career as a scientist — a marine biology background, fieldwork in the Florida Keys and Costa Rica — before military life gave me a new kind of fieldwork. Pennsylvania. Japan. Hawaii. California. Four duty stations as a Navy spouse, and a front-row seat to what a PCS actually demands: rebuilding an entire life on someone else's timeline.
