JBMHH's most visible mission is conducting official ceremonies, locally and worldwide, on behalf of the nation's civilian and military leaders. Serving the National Capital Region in many ways, JBMHH’s legacy is long and steeped in American history. No doubt you’ve heard about, seen, or visited Arlington National Cemetery, the most sacred ground for American veterans. The cemetery is adjacent to Fort Myer and serves as the resting place for notable graves sites such as the Tomb of the Unknowns, Medal of Honor recipients, presidents, and supreme court justices, in addition to many other patriotic Americans. History buffs often tour Fort McNair’s Grant Hall, the location of the 1865 military tribunal of the conspirators who plotted the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
