It’s May and do you know what that means? It’s National Military Appreciation Month! 

Back in 1999, Congress passed a bill to declare May as National Military Appreciation Month. This bill encourages U.S. citizens to observe the month in a symbol of unity. It serves as a time to recognize and honor both veterans and active-duty service members across the nation. 

This time every year political figures, organizations and private companies honor our nation’s service members with events and discounts on products and services. 

MilitaryByOwner is no different. We choose to honor our country’s service members every day by providing excellent real estate networking for our military service members and family in the community.  

Both Military Appreciation Day and Memorial Day fall within the month of May. Take a minute to thank the veterans and service members in your community this month.
