The US Army Corps of Engineers has several facilities located throughout the Mississippi Valley Division, with the headquarters of the operation located in Historic Downtown Vicksburg in the Mississippi Valley Division Building.  The facility is just east of the city center of Vicksburg on the Mississippi River and Mississippi-Louisiana State Line.  In addition to Vicksburg, other nearby cities include Beechwood, Rose Hill, Woodlawn, Newmans, and Waltersville, MS.  As well, across the Mississippi River and State line, Tallulah, LA is approximately 25 miles west of the facility.
