  • Camp Lejeune Homes  Marine Corps

    Camp Lejeune houses more than 47,000 Marines and Sailors from around the world and is known as “Home of Marine Expeditionary Forces in Readiness”, with 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, 2nd Marine DIV, and 2nd Marine Log Group as major tenants. Covering an area of 246 square miles, the base's 14 miles of beaches make it a major area for amphibious assault training, and its location between two deep-water ports (Wilmington and Morehead) allow for rapid deployment of troops.

  • Camp Mackall Homes  Army

    Camp Mackall is a sub-installation of Fort Bragg and satellite campus of the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. The Camp is operated by the 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) and is home to all field training. The facility, which occupies land in Hoke and Moore counties, houses the Rowe Training Facility, FOB Freedom, the SERE Complex and the Special Forces Preparatory Training Complex. The Mackall Auxiliary Airfield Airport is also located on the reservation.

  • Charlotte Air National Guard Homes  Air Force

    The 145th Airlift Wing is a tactical airlift unit of the North Carolina Air National Guard located at Charlotte Air National Guard Base at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, North Carolina.The mission of the 145th Airlift Wing is to maintain operational readiness and provide support to air and ground forces in any area of the world. As well, the 145th Airlift Wing is one of only four units in the United States Air Force equipped and trained to provide airborne fire fighting suppression.

  • Cherry Point MCAS Homes  Marine Corps

    The Marine Corp Air Station at Cherry Point is the world's largest Marine Corps Air Station. The base is home to the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing and to the Marine Corps' only Naval Aviation Depot which performs work on aircraft and aircraft components used by the Marine Corps, Navy, and other services. Other major tenants at Cherry Point are the Naval Hospital and Combat Service Support Group-21.

  • Coast Guard Cape Hatteras Homes  Coast Guard

    Coast Guard Cape Hatteras is home to a CG Sector Field Office (SFO) which provides logistical support to all CG assets on the Outer Banks of NC and to the Small-boat Station and Marine Safety Team located at Elizabeth City. SFO Cape Hatteras is a fully mobile Logistics support unit. The CG also operates several boat stations in the area to include Station Hatteras Inlet at the southern end of Hatteras Island.

  • Coast Guard Elizabeth City Homes  Coast Guard

    The Elizabeth City Coast Guard Complex maintains 800 acres of real estate, including runways, roadways, and buildings. The CG Air Station located there is one of the busiest air stations in the Coast Guard, operating missions as far away as Greenland, the Azores and the Caribbean. In addition to the air station, Elizabeth City's Coast Guard complex includes the Aviation Logistics Center, Aviation Technical Training Center, and Support Center.

  • Coast Guard Fort Macon Homes  Coast Guard

    Coast Guard Station Fort Macon in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, is part of Coast Guard Sector North Carolina. The active station completes approximately 1,000 boardings of recreational and commercial boats annually as well as 300 Search and Rescue missions. Station Fort Macon is also involved in training for Search and Rescue and Law Enforcement operations.

  • Coast Guard Wilmington Homes  Coast Guard

    USCG Sector North Carolina maintains a presence in Wilmington, NC where sector headquarters are located. Other Coast Guard units in Wilmington include a Marine Safety Unit (MSU), a recruiting office and the USCG Cutter Diligence, which is homeported there. Wilmington, NC is one of only eight cities in the country with the designation of "A Coast Guard City".

    Fort Bragg is known as the “Home of the Airborne.” The XVIII Airborne Corps, the 82nd Airborne Division, and Special Operations Forces all call Fort Bragg home. As the largest parachute force in the free world, the 82nd Airborne Division can deploy combat ready forces worldwide within 18 hours of notification.

  • Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (MOTSU) Homes  Army

    The U.S. Army's 597th Transportation Terminal Group operates the huge Military Ocean Terminal at Sunny Point, N.C. (MOTSU) The Sunny Point Terminal is the the largest ammunition port in the nation, and the Army's primary east coast deep-water port. It is the only DOD terminal equipped to handle containerized ammunition and is the DOD's key ammunition shipping point on the Atlantic Coast.

  • New River MCAS Homes  Marine Corps

    The Marine Corp Air Station at New River, (MCAS New River), is the principal USMC helicopter operating location on the East Coast, and supports aircrew training in the H-53 helicopter. Approximately 6,000 military members and 600 civilian employees work on a daily basis to meet the demands of operating the station.

  • Pope Field Homes  Air Force

    Pope Field, is home to the 43rd Airlift Wing and two tenant units: the 23rd Fighter Group and the 18th Air Support Operations Group. The 43d Airlift Wing at Pope Field provides contingency airlift to the 82d Airborne Division and other special units at next door Fort Bragg. USAF Missions at Pope Field range from providing airlift and close air support to American armed forces to supporting humanitarian missions flown all over the world.

  • Raleigh National Guard Homes  Army

    The North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) is an all-volunteer force of nearly 12,000 soldiers and airmen who serve in both federal and state capacities. In state government, the Guard falls under the umbrella of the North Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public Safety. The NCNG has units throughout the state to include several units in the Raleigh Area as well as an Air National Guard Unit in the Charlotte, NC Area.

  • Seymour Johnson AFB Homes  Air Force

    Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is a major Air Combat Command base and is home to the 4th Fighter Wing, one of the Air Forces most distinguished fighter wings. The wing consists of four groups: 4th Maintenance Group, 4th Mission Support Group, 4th Operations Group and 4th Medical Group. Located at Seymour Johnson AFB are over 6,400 military members, about 600 civilians and 96 F-15E Strike Eagles.

  • Stone Bay Homes  Marine Corps

    Stone Bay is a satellite facility of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, in North Carolina. It is located on the south side of Camp Lejeune and is separated from mainside by the New River. Stonebay is home to Headquarters United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command and Lejeune's Weapons Training Battalion. It functions as the primary facility for weapons qualifications and has several shooting ranges.
