Base Location:

The Tennessee National Guard has Air and Army units throughout the state.  Memphis area units of the TN Air National Guard operate out of the Memphis International Airport and are located on Democrat Road which defines northern boundary of the airport.  There is also another Air NG location at the southern end of the airport, just above East Shelby Road, which defines the southern boundary of the airport. In nearby Millington, TN around 25 miles to the north of the airport area is NSA Mid South and if you continue  about 10 miles further north, you will hit the town of Atoka, TN. Directly to the east of the airport and 164th NG Airlift Wing is Germantown, TN at about 10 miles distance,  and if you head northeast of the station, you will arrive at Bartlett, TN approximately 15 miles away.
