Naval Base Guam is part of US Navy controlled Joint Region Marianas
The base has components across the island to include Commander Naval Forces Marianas, Commander Submarine Squadron Fifteen, Coast Guard Sector Guam and Naval Special Warfare Unit One. As well, the base supports 28 other tenant commands. It is the home base of three Los Angeles class submarines and to dozens of units operating in support of US Pacific Command, US Pacific Fleet, Seventh Fleet and Fifth Fleet.
