Our Story- For rent is our elevated 3900 sqft, 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom fully furnished home on Pensacola Beach. We had the home built in 2016 as the home we will live in and raise our two kids after Dave retired from the Marine Corps. It was designed to sleep a minimum of 19 people (4 people in 4 rooms, 3 people in the 5th room) comfortably (in bedrooms, in beds) in order to accommodate visiting family. The home is located four houses down from the number one rated elementary school in Florida so the kids can walk or ride their bike. This is also where the middle and high school bus stop is located to take them to top rated Santa Rosa County middle and high schools in the state. After school and work you can walk a short 200 yards to the beach, enjoy the heated pool surrounded by a tropical oasis and oversized patio, or hang out on one of two patios or the roof top deck complete with a hot tub which happens to be the perfect place to watch the annual Blue Angels Air Show and 4th of July fireworks. The kids can play in the sand or the playground with swings and slide in the fully fenced back yard, or ride bikes around the neighborhood with other kids, or walk to the elementary school to play at the basketball court, open field and track, or use the two playgrounds there. What we did not see coming was Cheryl, a Reserve Officer in the Marine Corps, being selected for National War College, so we are moving to Washington DC for one year and then will return home to stay.

Our Home- The first story has a junior master suite, a second bedroom with a queen bed and office desk, a guest bathroom, plus an open concept great room that has the kitchen, dining and two living areas. The kitchen offers two full sized ovens with a total of 10 burners, built-in microwave, double refrigerators and freezers, wine fridge, and oversized walk-in pantry. It also has a 9’x4’ island with a prep sink with seating for four, plus additional window bar that has seating for five. The dining room seats eight, is open to the kitchen, and has a spectacular view of the ocean. All of the living areas have views of the Gulf of Mexico.

The second story has 2 additional bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill style bathroom, laundry room with sink and plenty of storage, and the primary master suite which is over 800 square feet in size. The master bedroom has a king bed with a sitting area with serene views of the Gulf. The suite continues with an oversized closet and the bathroom which features a 2-person 6’x 4’ jetted tub, 2-person shower with two heads and 4 body sprays, his and her vanities, and separate water closet. There is also a loft that features a 3-way game table (air hockey, pool, and table soccer). All rooms on the second story have water views of the Gulf or Santa Rosa Sound.

The Details- The rental price includes landscaping service, pool servicing and cleaning, and a fully furnished home. Fully furnished includes everything you would need to live, enjoy, and sleep in the home: all indoor and outdoor furniture, beds, mattresses, TVs, one set of linens (towels, sheets, blankets), basically stocked kitchen (one set of dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc.), even a piano; basically bring your clothes and food. If you don’t want the home fully furnished, we are willing to work out those details. The tenant would be responsible for all utilities: TV and internet service, electric, gas, water, sewage, and trash. The lease would begin 1 July 2021 and end 30 June 2022. If you needed different dates by a couple of weeks on either side, we can work that out. However, we can’t start the lease prior to 20 June 2021, and it must end no later than 16 July 2022.
