A Nest thermostat was added and an additional 20” of insulation was blown into the attic over the original insulation. Nest smart smoke detectors with carbon monoxide detectors were installed in the bedrooms of the home.
-Solar window film was added to all of the sun-facing windows for furniture color protection and better cooling efficiency. All efficiency upgrades effectively reduced the power bill by approximately 30%. Outdoor carriage lights were replaced and high-efficiency LED light bulbs have been installed throughout the home.
-Original carpet removed and Armstrong “smoked oak” laminate flooring was installed throughout. In the large living room, a liquor bar was installed with a 48” True commercial bar-back cooler, LED lighted shelving, and lockable antique doors on barn-door rollers.
