Gowen Field, Boise Air Terminal Homes
Gowen Field, Boise Air Terminal, operated by the Boise Department of Aviation, is a joint civil-military, commercial, and general aviation airport. The Terminal is a landing rights airfield requiring international general aviation flights to receive permission from a Customs and Border Protection officer before landing. The Idaho Air National Guard uses Gowen Field and the U.S. Forest Service uses it as a base for aerial firefighting air tankers during the wildfire season.
