Gowen Field Homes
Gowen Field, located at the Boise Air Terminal in Idaho, is a joint civil-military, commercial, and general aviation airport. The Terminal is a landing rights airfield requiring international general aviation flights to receive permission from a Customs and Border Protection officer before landing. The Idaho Air National Guard's 124th Fighter Wing is located at Gowen Field, and the U.S. Forest Service uses it as a base for aerial firefighting air tankers during the wildfire season.

The host unit at Mountain Home AFB is the 366th Fighter Wing, the "Gunfighters", of the Air Combat Command (ACC). The base's primary mission is to provide combat air-power and combat support capabilities to respond to and sustain worldwide contingency operations.
