The North Island Naval Air Station (NAS) is located at the north end of the Coronado peninsula on San Diego Bay in California. It is part of the Naval Base Coronado Complex. Across the harbor are the cities of San Diego, Chula Vista, and National City, all under 10 miles away. The cites of Bonita and Lemon Grove are nearby as well, both around 15 miles east of the base.
