How do people contact me about my home?
When submitting your ad, you are asked for a Display Name, Email, and Phone Number (optional). The email address is hidden for your privacy; however, the Email Advertiser form goes directly to the inbox of the contact email address provided.

How long does it take to see my ad online?
Your ad will typically display approximately 15 minutes after submission. Contact us if you cannot find your ad. Home Ads can be found by searching by zip code, city, base, or your MBO ad number.

How do I indicate on my ad that my home is listed with an agent?
When creating your ad, the first field is titled "I am." Select "Real Estate Agent" from the drop-down list provided.

I would like to include a photo. What packages include photos?
Two ad packages include photos.
The Home Tour Plus ($79.95) includes 40 photos that are shown on the detail page and the thumbnail photo of the front of the home on the base listing page.
The Home Tour ($49.95) includes five photos shown on the detail page and a thumbnail photo on the base page.

How do I upload or rearrange photos?
Photos can be added at any time with the Home Tour and Home Tour Plus packages.
Log in, select My Account, View My Property Ads, then Edit Your Ad.
Continue through your ad by clicking Save and Continue, and make changes as needed.
On the Photo page, you have the option to add JPG or PNG photos by drag-and-drop or upload.
The first slot is the featured photo, which is displayed on the base search page.
You can rearrange the photos by clicking, holding the blue bar above the photo, and dragging it to the desired location.

Will I be able to make changes after I submit my ad?
Yes! You can edit your advertisement at any time, including photos, text, pricing, etc. The only thing you cannot edit is the actual property address.
To edit your ad, log in, click My Account, View My Property Ads, then Edit My Ad. Click Save and Continue to move throughout your ad and to save the changes made.

How do I upgrade my ad?
- Log in to your account, select My Account, View My Property Ads, and Edit My Ad.
- Select your Upgrade option then Save and Continue to complete the transaction. The payment is the difference between the two ads.
- To add photos, you will complete the upgrade, then go back into your account and edit your ad to upload photos.

How do I renew my old ad?
- Log in to your account
- Select My Account and View My Property Ads
- Your expired ad will be in the Inactive ad section
- Select Edit and Renew My Ad.
- Follow the prompts, making necessary changes, and click Save and Continue to reach the payment page to submit your ad.

How do I change the Ad Status or remove my ad?
The ad status dropdown is found in your account under View My Property Ads.
Log in to your account, click My Account, and View My Property Ads.
Click the Ad Status dropdown to the appropriate status.
Here is what each status means:
Paused - Temporarily takes an advertisement offline
Lease Pending - Changes the description of the advertisement from "For Rent" to "Lease Pending". You can change it back to "For Rent" if the lease falls through.
Rented - Removes the advertisement from the site. If the lease falls through, call us to change the status back to For Rent. The original expiration date remains.
Under Contract - This changes the status from "For Sale" to "Under Contract." If the contract falls through, you can change it back to "For Sale." The original expiration date remains.
Sold - Removes the advertisement from the site.

Is MilitaryByOwner associated with the MLS or can I put the MLS number in the ad?
No, MilitaryByOwner is not associated with the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). However, if you do have an MLS number, you are welcome to notate it in the description area of your advertisement.

The map location on the ad is incorrect. How do I fix it?
The map location may not be accurate if you are looking at the Preview Page before your ad is submitted.
If the ad is submitted and the location is incorrect, please identify the lat/long coordinates and contact us through phone, live chat or email so it can be corrected.

Can I print or email my ad?
Yes, you can. Quickly find your home from the home page. Put your MBO ad number in the white search bar under Buy, Rent, Advertise, and then select the Print option. You can save your ad as a PDF and then email it.

How do I put my ad on Facebook?
Quickly find your home from the home page. Put your MBO ad number in the white search bar under Buy, Rent, Advertise, and then select the Print option. Click the Share on Facebook to share it on your Facebook page.

How do I remove old contacts from the Lead History?
Old contacts cannot be removed but they can be archived. To archive old emails from the Lead History, log into your account, select My Account, View My Property Ads, then Lead History. Click on the Archive link of the email you want to archive. To view emails that are not archived, choose No in the Is Archived dropdown.

Can I get a refund if my home sells quickly?
If you are not happy with the presentation of the ad, we will refund you within three days of submitting the ad. Refunds are not given when you are successful, and the home sells quickly, before the expiration date, or if it sells/rents from another means of advertising.
